Hotel Blackfoot

For the price, you get a nice room. Ours was pleasant, and the bathroom and shower were clean and nicely laid out. The rooms aren’t very soundproof, but other guests nearby were quiet enough that we slept without being disturbed. The front desk attendants were professional but not especially friendly. We arrived around 9pm and left around 9am; they handled the basics, without asking how things were or whether we needed anything.

I’ve been staying at Hotel Blackfoot for years, and it brings back good memories of time here with my parents enjoying Calgary. I like the location because it’s close to the places I want to visit. Quiet matters a lot to me, so I usually choose the 6th or 7th floor, which I find peaceful. The food is a mixed bag, sometimes good and sometimes just okay, but I still really enjoy staying here.

It’s a clean hotel, though a bit older, and it can feel somewhat dark inside. Concerts, shows, or student sports tournaments can make it busy. I had no problems during my stay, and it had what I needed for a good night’s rest. The breakfast buffet was decent, with both hot dishes and healthier choices. A reasonable place if you’re looking for a good rest and aren’t expecting too much.

The 24/7 fitness center is a real help when I travel, since I can work out early or late and keep my routine. Hotel Blackfoot has been one of my regular Calgary stays for years because it’s consistently dependable. Rooms are quiet, clean, and well kept. The beds are comfortable, the showers have good pressure, and everything works as it should. Housekeeping does a careful job. Front desk staff have always been friendly and efficient, whether I arrive late or check out early. From check-in to check-out, things run smoothly. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, clean hotel that delivers reliably.
