Hyatt Place Calgary Airport

I chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport and was impressed by the staff. Ayla at check-in was friendly and helpful, Asim was a remarkable server at the convenient onsite restaurant, and Ibrahim and Ram were kind and professional at checkout. The food there was tasty, too. Our room was spacious, with a large comfortable sofa, a big bright window, and plenty of light. It was comfortable, quiet, and clean. My only quibbles were the missing small touches: no complimentary water bottles, and the coffee and machine were low quality.

It’s in a great spot for air travel, and the staff were friendly, informative, and helpful. Our room and bathroom were clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and adjusting the temperature was easy. There’s an onsite restaurant open for lunch and dinner, plus a breakfast buffet with a good range of food and drinks.

Azim, the server and bartender at the hotel restaurant, was phenomenal: friendly, attentive, and easy to talk to. As a solo traveler, that made a real difference and lifted my whole experience. After a long day of travel, I also appreciated how smooth and welcoming check-in was. My room at the Hyatt Place Calgary International Airport was modern, spotless, and very comfortable. I had a great stay.

The staff were pleasant, helpful, and really friendly to chat with, and the room was modern and very clean. My one complaint is the bed and pillows: the mattress was very firm and the pillows were very thin, though that might suit someone else. Water wasn’t provided in the room unless you’re a member.
