Element by Marriott Calgary Airport

Jim’s airport shuttle was prompt and friendly, and Marilyn at the front desk welcomed us warmly and explained the amenities so we knew what to expect. Their professionalism and kindness really stood out, and we appreciate the care they showed. The room didn’t meet expectations, though. There was hair on a glass bottle in the kitchen, and the in-room phone didn’t work, so contacting the front desk later in the evening was difficult. Still, we had a pleasant stay largely thanks to the staff.

The location works perfectly for an airport stay, and Element has a hotel shuttle. Staff were polite, professional, and friendly, and breakfast is included. There’s also a decent gym, a swirl pool, and a swimming pool. The beds and pillows are soft, so they may not suit anyone who prefers firmer bedding. Hot water was hit or miss, especially in the late afternoon and evening.

Shayal made sure I was comfortable and able to get ready for my wedding, and her service was a 100000/10. She was so kind and amazing. My husband and I had excellent service, and it was an incredible first stay at this hotel. I booked it for the wedding, and we’ll definitely come back. I hope we see Shayal again when we do. We only wished breakfast had more options. Everything else was excellent.

I always stay at this hotel when I’m in Calgary. The rooms are comfortable, I especially like the kitchen amenities, and the Front Desk team has always been friendly and professional. On this visit, they went far beyond that, which says a lot about their hospitality. After a tiring five-hour drive, I arrived expecting a simple check-in, then realized I’d booked the Downtown Element Hotel instead of the Airport Element Hotel. I was ready to head back to my car when Karlyn from the Front Desk called after me and offered to help. She called the downtown hotel on a private line, explained what had happened professionally, and after several minutes of back and forth, arranged to cancel that room and transfer my payment to the Airport one. A senior colleague helped her during the process, though I regret I didn’t get his business card.
