Residence Inn by Marriott Calgary Airport

Divya, who was wearing glasses, really turned things around for us. After a long 3.5-hour drive, we found out the two rooms we'd booked weeks ahead for our child's birthday weren't available because previous guests had been allowed to extend their stay. That threw off our plans, but Divya was understanding and did her best to make us comfortable. Her positive attitude and professionalism meant we could still enjoy the birthday celebration. I also appreciated the front desk employee who helped us around 11:30 PM on March 27. I think her name was Priyanka. When I asked for a table fan, she checked whether one was available and offered to bring it up if so. Later, we asked for a duvet for the sofa bed, and she promptly arranged for someone to bring both items. I'd told them about our earlier disappointing experience at Element by Westin hotel, where the manager handled the situation professionally. I wasn't sure about booking a two-bedroom family suite with only two beds and a sofa bed for the fifth adult. It would be nice to have a three-bed option, such as one king and two queens, as some Homewood hotels offer. Excellent service made a big difference, and I hope all the front desk staff can bring that same smile and positive energy. I'd be happy to stay again.

The front desk guy was my favorite part: professionally dressed, engaging, very friendly, and easy to approach. He really puts the customer first. We also had a restaurant attached and hot breakfast, and the value is hard to beat. Our room was upgraded to a king suite with a fireplace, which was lovely on a cold winter day. Floor 3 has a great pool and sauna.

For airport travel, I found this Residence Inn a comfortable, dependable choice. The suite had a full kitchenette and enough room to settle in, relax or get work done, whether staying briefly or longer. It was clean, quiet and well kept. Free parking, breakfast and a courtesy airport shuttle made the stay especially convenient. The staff were friendly and professional, and everything went smoothly from check-in through checkout. Like other Residence Inn locations, it offers a useful mix of space and amenities near Calgary Airport.

We came for a concert at the university and had a lovely night at the Residence Inn by Marriott by the Calgary airport. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a fridge and a kitchen that had everything we needed. Breakfast was free, with decent options, though the setup was a bit disorganized. It's a newer, large facility with an attached conference center and hotel. The Residence inn entrance is around the back. There's a pool, outdoor seating, a fire pit and a comfortable lobby. We'd definitely stay again in Calgary.
