Best Western Plus Cambridge Hotel

The kids had a great time in the pool, and breakfast had lots of choices. The coffee was surprisingly good, even from a machine. We booked two rooms for a family celebration, and they arranged them side by side and provided a crib for the baby. The rooms were lovely, and the beds were comfortable.

Our friends lost their home and all their belongings in a fire yesterday. We paid for a room for them and explained that they had a cat and had just been displaced by the fire. The hotel said on the phone that it was okay, but when our friends arrived, shaken and without a home, they were turned away at the desk. We managed to find somewhere else for them, but the lack of empathy was shocking. The room had been agreed to and paid for, then that offer of safety and comfort was taken away after they’d already lost everything. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The room was clean and the beds comfortable, though the hotel is showing its age. Check-in was easy, staff were friendly, and the rates were reasonable. The breakfast bar was better than expected, with hot food. Give the pancake maker a try. Parking is free, and it’s easy to reach from the 401 or get to downtown Cambridge.

The beds are comfortable, though most rooms feel dated. This older Best Western is right off the 401. The lobby is small and cozy, with a fancy coffee machine and a pancake maker, though both are sometimes broken. You can take a free bottle of water when you arrive. Breakfast was okay, the usual selection. The parking lot is small, but the spaces are roomy.
