Basecamp Suites Canmore

We liked being right downtown, with restaurants, shops, and galleries just a few minutes away. We spent two nights here and never needed to take the car out. The place was clean and tidy when we arrived, and check-in and checkout were simple. There are three bedrooms with comfortable queen beds, one ensuite and one full bathroom, plus a kitchen table that seats eight. Everything matched the description and pictures. Parking is available onsite, but it can be tight for a larger vehicle. Our midsize SUV fit, though it was a squeeze. Good value, location, and accommodation. I'd recommend it.

The room was spotless and very comfortable, and getting in and out was extremely easy. Communication came quickly and the information was clear. Banff is only a short ride away, while downtown Canmore has lots of shops and restaurants. It's a really welcoming town.

Being in the middle of downtown was the best part, with everything close by and easy to reach. The room is smaller than the photos suggest, so keep that in mind. The rooftop hot tub is tiny, but it's a fun feature. A robe and slippers would make using it more comfortable. Parking spaces are a bit tight, so a smaller car is easier to handle.

Canmore is awesome, and Basecamp is in a perfect spot. We loved our stay and would come back. The view from one of the rooms was stunning, and the beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed. Check-in was easy with the door code. It was quiet, with a big TV and a good kitchen. The shower heads were just okay, and it took a while for hot water to come through.
