Kim and her little dog Zoey made us feel like family. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and Kim was such a gracious host. We were there for the “2026 Lobster Crawl” in the “Lobster Capital of Canada” and had a delightful stay.

Mamas by the Sea was peaceful and relaxing, and Kim was happy to share lots of information about the area. With advance notice, she can even cook you a lobster. We had a wonderful stay with Kim and Zoe, who made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. We loved our time there and hope to return for longer. Thank you, Kim and Zoe!

I’ve stayed here two weekends in a row, and now I don’t want to stay anywhere else. Kim goes out of her way to make the visit great, and you definitely won’t go hungry. The rooms are very clean, the bathrooms are excellent, and there are two lovely decks for coffee and ocean views. After calling several nearby inns, this one stood out because the others didn’t seem as warm or friendly on the phone. You feel at home right away. It’s become my second home.

The homemade jellies at breakfast were a favorite, and Kim’s breakfasts were amazing. We also tried her lobster boil, which was a great experience and a must-do while staying in the lobster capital of the world. Clark’s Harbour and the surrounding area make a quiet, secluded getaway, far from traffic and city noise. The natural beaches are pristine, and sometimes you can have one all to yourself. There are walking paths, a newer restaurant, and a convenience store nearby. Kim is a sweetheart who opens her home and heart and makes you feel at home right away. We loved visiting with her and her pup Zoee. The house is immaculate, the bed and linens were wonderful, and we slept so well with the foghorns sounding in the distance. It felt like an authentic seaside stay. The bathroom was very clean, and we appreciated the large shower. We’re looking forward to coming back. Thank you so much, Kim! ❤️

Kim opened her beautiful home and heart to Shanshan and me while we were driving around the province. It was a lovely stay, and everything we needed was really nice. Her dog was a friendly delight, and breakfast was amazing. Kim showed us the Scotian way of being kind to others. She’s a great person, and I’d recommend this place 5/5 🌟. We’ll remember the visit for a lifetime. Thank you, Kim!
