We spent plenty of time at the beach, and the ocean was really warm at this spot. The whole area is beautiful. My husband and I stayed three nights in the two-person cottage, which was very clean and well maintained. The owner and host was kind, friendly, and accommodating. The little AC unit was wonderful in the hot weather. We enjoyed the stay so much that we’ll return when we visit Caraquet. I highly recommend the area.

Quiet, spacious, private, and friendly. There’s a play area for kids, and the place is set up for a lobster feast you can make yourself, morning coffee, relaxed reading, and board games. It’s thoughtfully equipped inside and out, and we slept soundly. Absolutely delightful in every way.

The outdoor space is lovely, but staying more than a night would’ve been hard for us because of the room’s size and comfort. I’m not sure we’d come back. The room was clean, and the AC worked well. Checking in with a door code was easy, and the folder in the room had all the information we needed. The huge gazebo is amazing, with three gas fire pits, a big table, lots of couches and blankets, and an outdoor kitchen. Bring mosquito repellent. The kids’ playground and bikes are a nice bonus. The ocean is at the end of the property. We couldn’t enjoy it because of the rain, but it seems like a great spot in sunny weather. For the price, I wasn’t impressed by the room. Our room with two double beds felt cramped, and the bathroom was especially tiny. If you have mobility issues or are larger than average, getting in and out of the shower could be difficult, with the toilet right in front of it in such a small space. I can’t say if all the rooms are like that, but the rest of our group felt just as cramped in their cabin. The mattresses were really hard, and the pillowcases felt scratchy, so I didn’t sleep comfortably, even though I’m not usually picky about beds. On top of the high price, the surprise 4% credit fee felt outrageous. That should be part of the cost of doing business. It’s 2024, and most tourists use credit cards.

The gazebo is awesome, and the place was clean and quiet, near the cycling trails. But for the price, we could find somewhere much better. The tiny cabins have rock-hard beds and no view, and most of the propane tanks were empty, so we had to hunt around for one to cook with. We could get a larger place with a water view, so the value just wasn’t there for us. It may suit you if you don’t mind a hard bed and no view.

The cycle paths begin right beside the hotel, and there are plenty of restaurants and amenities within a two-minute drive. Nearby beaches are beautiful, and Caraquet is very well kept. We both agreed we’d stay here again. We spent two nights in a cabin and were really impressed. It was exceptionally clean, with nice touches like rugs, cushions, and a Smart TV with Netflix and Roku. There was everything we needed for cooking, including knives, forks, and kitchen equipment, plus outdoor BBQs. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Fantastic cabins, highly recommended.
