We enjoyed our stay, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean when we arrived, but during our three nights it never got cleaned. We had to keep going to get our own supplies, and nobody mentioned that we needed to fill out a form to have the room cleaned. I’d never come across that before.

We took a short turn off the Trans Canada onto Hwy 9 and found this little casino, hotel, and restaurant. The staff were very friendly, and service was great. The casino is small, but there’s a good range of machines. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Renovations are underway in the rooms, and it should look very nice once they’re finished. We had fish and chips and a burger, and both meals were 5/5. I’d recommend staying and playing here.

I stopped at Bear Claw Casino on my way west and signed up for the SIGA Rewards players club. They gave me a cozy blanket for joining, and I even won enough cash to cover my stay in one of their rooms. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly. A great little detour if you’re nearby.

The room looked beautiful, and the price was incredibly affordable. We had a great stay, and I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good value.

The bedding and room were clean, and aside from a couple of issues the room was decent. But showering in that water felt icky. It was so brown that the bath looked gross, and I have a photo comparing a rag soaked in it with a clean one. I didn’t take a photo of the water itself. The water isn’t safe to drink, and I only noticed the little sign on the mirror after I’d brushed my teeth and rinsed with it. I’m not sure if the rooms were being renovated, but ours had no baseboards. Without these problems, it would be a great place to stay.
