The food was the highlight, and I say that as someone who really enjoys cooking and dining. Dinner and breakfast were both beautifully presented, full of flavour, and satisfying. The meals and the Hot Tub Studio together made the price worthwhile for us, especially compared with other places where I've paid more for less quality. It was our first stay at Hearher Lodge, in February, with the meal plan. The room was clean and thoughtfully equipped, and the two-person hot tub was just right for my wife and me. They knew it was my wife's birthday and put a birthday message on our first night's menus. Those little touches felt meaningful. The place had an elegant atmosphere without feeling stiff. The photos don't quite capture it. We had a lovely little getaway and will be back.

They made our anniversary dinner feel personal, even decorating the table for us. We also got to watch six deer run across the lake, which made the evening memorable. The food was amazing, proper fine dining, and the waitresses were great. It was a little expensive, but absolutely worth it.

The view of the lake framed by trees was lovely, and our room had everything we needed and felt cozy. We spent four nights at this beautiful resort last week and had a perfect stay. The staff were fantastic, especially Maria, who kindly helped us with a couple of things unrelated to our stay. We'll definitely come back.

We came for a quiet getaway in late August and got exactly the peaceful break we wanted. The weather kept us from taking the boats out, but we still loved sitting on the docks by the water. The grounds were cared for, our room was clean, cozy and comfortable, and the service was top notch. And the food was incredible. Every bite was delicious, and even my very picky husband tried new things and loved them. We had such a great time at Heather Lodge and can't wait to return.

The bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept in, and every staff member looked after us so warmly. We had lovely, heartwarming conversations, along with wonderful breakfasts and a New Year's dinner. The lodge is in the heart of Ontario, and they shared lots of information about things to do nearby. They even arranged a wonderful dogsledding tour for us. All in all, 100/10. Thank you so much! ❤️
