The room was clean and comfortable, and Marie at the front desk gave excellent service. She was welcoming and helped me find a better room. A few things were off: the Kleenex box was empty, the hairdryer didn’t work, the bathroom door wouldn’t close properly, and the next morning I found coffee grounds left in the coffee maker. The door issue may matter to some people, though it wasn’t a big deal for me.

Marie was helpful, the pool was incredibly good and my children enjoyed it. The room Rafael cleaned was very clean too. I’ll absolutely stay at Sandman Castlegar again.

The banquet room was clean, spacious, and just right for celebrating my daughter’s birthday. The staff were courteous and accommodating, and I want to especially thank Mariejel. She was friendly, helpful, and attentive from the planning through the event. She kept in touch, checked in regularly, and took care of every detail. Our requested table and chair setup was followed perfectly, which meant a lot to us. Thanks to Mariejel and the whole team for making the party special. We really appreciate the service and effort, and will recommend the venue to friends and family.

We spent Christmas Eve here with my family. The location is very convenient, the bathroom in our clean room was especially nice, and the pool made a great spot for the kids to hang out. The staff were friendly too, thanks to Marie. We were satisfied and would highly recommend it.
