We had a really bad stay and wouldn't recommend this place. Our first room was a drive-up room, which seemed convenient, but as soon as we entered there was a horrible smell of cigarettes and general mustiness. After we reported it, we were moved to a room in the main building that was adequate for one night. Breakfast was a letdown. The hot trays were empty when we arrived, so we waited for food, while staff and restaurant family members seemed to have full plates and were sitting down to eat. When food came out, it wasn't good: bland scrambled eggs, hard, undercooked home fries, and bread from a bagged loaf that people reached into with bare hands. The bacon never showed up. We also had to take our tiny ice bucket to the desk to get it filled. When I went back for a second bucket, the older man at the counter gave me a look like I was asking for a million dollars. I've never stayed at another hotel or motel without a self-serve ice machine. If you're trying to save money, pay the extra $20-30 for somewhere better.

Just a few minutes from Charlottetown, this is a peaceful spot on the edge of the city, and the price is very reasonable. I'm already looking forward to staying here again.

The beds were clean and comfortable, and the staff were lovely. Some areas felt dated and could use a deep clean, but for the price, you get what you pay for. I'd stay here again.

The staff were okay, but management wasn't receptive when we raised our concerns. The towels were dirty and stained, and there were dirty footprints in the bathtub, so it didn't look like it had been cleaned. The outlets wouldn't hold a plug, the heater fell off the wall in the middle of the night and scared us, and the flooring corners were black with dirt. I attached photos of what we found. We shared the problems with the owner, but nothing was done. She said we should have raised them the night we checked in. When we came back and saw the room, though, nobody was at the office. We also met a man who had seen the room that night and chose not to stay because of how unclean it was. He left a note on the door explaining why he couldn't stay. That says a lot. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially when there seem to be cleaner options nearby. Stay away and save your money!
