The Annapolis Valley makes a lovely base for days out exploring its history and scenery, then returning for a comfortable night and a good breakfast before heading off somewhere else. I got to see the themed room and accommodations on a tour with the owners, who are exceptionally friendly and well respected. Their care for guests came through in the details they proudly showed me, and it’s clear they want people to feel at home. The beautiful Victorian is well kept and modernized while still holding on to its nostalgic feel. It seems suited to both quiet privacy and relaxed gatherings with good conversation.

We had a busy weekend planned, and Lorraine and Doug made sure we had breakfast to take with us. They were the best hosts we could’ve asked for, and made us feel comfortable coming and going whenever we needed. Five thumbs up for Pillowcase B&B.

Breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were welcoming and knew their stuff. The rooms are lovely in this beautiful century home. Just a great experience, highly recommended.

There are plenty of card games and other things to do when you’re taking it easy, and the rooms are nice. The staff were friendly, so it worked out great for our wedding stay. Paying by credit card was possible, though there’s no chip-and-PIN reader, so they have to call the payment in.

The breakfast was great, with homemade and local items, and the hosts were really friendly and helpful. The place is amazing, beautifully decorated, spacious, and comfortable.
