Spark by Hilton Guelph

Dashmeet got me checked in quickly, showed me to my room, and asked if I needed anything else. That was exceptional service. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and newly renovated the hotel was when I arrived. Hotels.com gave the Sparks only 2.5 stars, but I booked based on my past stays at Hilton hotels. The room was modern, spacious, and clean. I’ll book here again when I’m in the Guelph area.

Neeraj was very welcoming at the front desk, and the staff had left us a sweet note and some snacks in the room for our anniversary. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. It’s a standard Hilton, and I was surprised the TV was smart and could also be controlled with the HH app. Breakfast is simple, just bagels and cereal, but there’s a Denny's down the road. I’m glad my partner and I chose this place to celebrate.

We had a bad experience at the Super 8 next door and changed plans at the last minute, coming here instead. The staff were much nicer and really helpful. Nice rooms, a nice pool and hot tub, and great staff. No complaints, it was a great stay.

First time at a spark, and I stay at Hilton hotels about 60 nights a year. I was pleasantly surprised and would come back. The room was newly renovated and clean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, the water pressure was good, there were no smells, and I didn’t hear my neighbors. Parking was free, and I got upgraded to a spacious one-bedroom suite. Great value, with friendly staff. Breakfast is basic, just as advertised, with muffins, bagels, coffee, juice, and so on.
