Travelodge by Wyndham Fort McMurray

I was at the Travelodge for almost three weeks while my wife was in the hospital in Fort McMurray. The staff did a great job accommodating my needs and adjusting my stay several times. The rooms are large and very well maintained.

My room had loads of space. It was a spacious, comfortable, clean room with one queen bed. The hotel has both smoking and non smoking rooms available.

The room had a roomy fridge with a good sized freezer, and I liked having a microwave there for my business trip. Breakfast was good, with bacon, eggs, waffles, toast, and muffins to choose from. It’d be nice if they had dairy alternatives for coffee, but you can’t have everything. The room and hotel were clean and very nice, and the staff were friendly. We gave it four stars because our sink wouldn’t drain on the first day. We told the front desk, but by checkout three days later, it still hadn’t been fixed. We’ll definitely book here again.

Free breakfast meant I could fill up before heading out, and the room was quiet and comfortable, with a microwave, fridge, and desk for my laptop. The Internet has just been upgraded, and this is one of the few hotels in fort Mac with ethernet, a plug in connection. Joan at the front desk was especially good and made sure I was comfortable. Check in and checkout were easy, and the rooms, lobby, elevator, and hallways were clean. Excellent value. This is an awesome hotel, and I’ll definitely stay here from now on. Thanks Travel Lodge!
