The bathrooms were spotless, and the price was very reasonable. We came at the end of May, when a lot of campgrounds still weren't open, looking for somewhere quiet where we could arrive late, sleep, and shower. The owner made us feel welcome and was very accommodating. There were hardly any other campers, and the road nearby didn't bother us.

We were glad we cut our three-night booking short and left after one night. The sites at Adventure East campground are cramped, and I couldn't get the Wifi to connect even at 2:00 AM. There was still loud partying by teenagers on the sports field after 23:00 pm, so I needed earplugs to sleep. By the pool, a little building was full of rubbish, including beer cans and empty wine bottles.

The campground is friendly, but the washrooms are too far from the tent area, especially for an older person like me. They could use another one nearby, and the porta potty has to go. I couldn't sleep the first night because of the noise and hollering that carried on past 1:30am. I won't come back.

We were here August 10-12, 2024, and the pool was wonderful. The comfort stations were clean and usable, and the owners were friendly and clearly working hard to make guests comfortable. I expect they would have dealt with the noise if I had contacted them, and the second night was quiet. The park sits at the bottom of the famous Cabot trail, which makes it a good base for exploring the island. We'd happily stay again. Our site was small and barely left room for an eating tent and fire pit with our 28' camper. It seemed about 12" off level over 16', and the 30A power supply seemed to fluctuate, though nothing tripped or surged. We also had a group of donkeys next to us partying into the early morning. That's on inconsiderate people with no awareness of others, not the park.

The sites are very small and a tight fit, but the owner was so nice that I'd probably come back. It's a serviceable campground.
