We were 15 family members staying at Le Clos for a few days in February 2023, and the house was amazing, full of character and space. It had everything we needed. The kids loved playing hide and seek in the big historic building, and we all enjoyed cozy fires in the beautiful stone fireplaces each evening. The beds were comfortable, too. Daniel made us feel completely welcome and at home, and was very responsive whenever we had questions. We’d definitely recommend staying here and would love to return.

We rented the whole cottage and had a great time. It has the feel of a 300-plus-year-old home, with two kitchens, high-speed wifi, two flat-screen TVs, and a great sound system for modern comforts. The owner was very nice. He met us on arrival, gave us the chef’s tour, then left us to enjoy the place. He’d even set up a fire in the pit that only took one match to light. The beds are very comfortable. Just remember, it’s a rustic cottage, not a five-star luxury hotel. We’d definitely love to go back.

Daniele has a fantastic cheese collection and makes a great breakfast. I went out for an early run and found the beautiful surroundings really peaceful. The rooms are lovely, clean, and over 200 years old. It’s close to Mont St Anne and the geese reserve. Amazing place, location, and host.

I loved the breakfast and the warmth of the owner, Daniel. This charming B&B has lots of lovely spots for pictures. Its location was perfect for exploring the Island of Orleans, including La Seigneurie de l'ile d'Orleans, Park of the Ancestors, and the many cideries and vineyards. Domaine L'Ange Gardien Vignobles Et Vergers really impressed me, with very good wines and a beautiful setting for my pictures and paintings.

This place is truly one of a kind and special. It’s eerie but breathtaking, and the autumn smells really stir the senses. Inside, it’s pure nostalgia, walking across floors marked by history. I know the house was built in the 17th century, though I can’t be precise. One of the oldest homes in Canada.
