I booked and paid for a room for my kids and me, then returned to put down the requested 200 deposit. When I came back, the owner/manager said it had changed to 300. I asked several times to speak to the manager and was told none was available. After asking for a call, and asking again, I was finally told the person was the owner/manager. The story kept changing, as did the payment options, from cash to debit to Mastercard or Visa. I didn’t get either back. Absolutely do not recommend.

For the price, it was better than I expected. There were plenty of towels, plus an in-room coffee maker, microwave, and small fridge. I was very happy and would stay again, 9/10. The mattresses are very firm, and the pillows are really thick, so bring your own if you prefer a thin one.

There was a good little coffee maker, microwave, and fridge, but the cleanliness was awful. The carpet was filthy, the drapes were coming off their hooks, and there were lots of cigarette butts outside the room. I haven’t seen colored towels in a motel for a long time. Disgusting. I’ll never stay here again, no matter how cheap it is.

My room was really clean, the location was great, and the service was great. I stayed two nights for $100 a night. You can’t go wrong, and I highly recommend Rider's Motor Inn.

The Manager knew the area and helped with my questions about the stay and getting there from the Kamloops Airport. That’s why I recommend this place, specifically because of the management. It’s a modest spot and good value if you just need somewhere to sleep for the night. My room had a good television, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, air conditioning, a couch, and a bed. There’s also a McDonald's right nearby, so I could walk over for food and back to my room quickly.
