Prestige Aberdeen Lodge Kamloops

We stopped at the Prestige Kamloops Hotel overnight during our Rocky Mountaineer Railroad trip, and it worked well for that. There was plenty of accessible parking after a long travel day, several restaurants within walking distance, and a nearby casino if you want entertainment. The hotel has its own restaurant too, which made eating easy. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped for a short visit. It faced the highway, though, and traffic was noticeable at night. If noise bothers you, ask for a room away from the highway. It’s a practical, comfortable place to stay while passing through Kamloops, with handy dining options and good amenities.

The rooms were comfortable and really clean, and the staff made us feel welcome. There’s a pool, fitness room, and a restaurant with very tasty food. Great stay, and I’d recommend Prestige next time you’re in Kamloops!

The staff were really nice, the rooms and common areas were clean, the beds comfortable, and the restaurant in the hotel very good. The location is convenient, but it’s right by the highway, and the windows clearly weren’t upgraded. Instead of chocolate at turndown, you get ear plugs, which says a lot. You hear every car and truck going along Hwy 1 at 100 km/hr, day and night, so light sleepers should go elsewhere. We’ve stayed at several Prestige locations in BC, and this one doesn’t meet the chain’s standards. I’d probably skip it next time. I’d rate it much higher if they hadn’t skimped on the windows.

The kids love the pool and water slide, and the on-site restaurant is great for breakfast or dinner. We keep coming back to Prestige Kamloops because the rooms are clean and modern and the staff are always so friendly.
