Fountain Motel

By far the worst place I’ve stayed. The room I’d prepaid for had two queen beds, but after several attempts I ended up with two double beds instead. The first room was supposedly cleaned minutes earlier, but smelled rotten and had messy beds, garbage, and towels scattered on the floor. The next one was dirty too. The final room had been cleaned, but smelled odd; I had to buy air freshener and air it out. The website says breakfast is offered, but that wasn’t true. There was no ice, laundry, or 24-hour front desk either. When I drove up, the surroundings weren’t appealing: drug deals were happening in the open, and rough people were hanging around. Don’t be fooled by the 3.5 stars. They were probably made by management.

There was nothing but arguing. The manager said my stay wasn’t up to date and told me I had to leave, even though I had paid for four days and was booked through Monday. I was asked to leave the next day. Completely unprofessional.

Had a good stay. The staff were friendly and the rooms decent, though I wish the TV were bigger. The A/C works, but it’s loud.

This motel is pretty old and needs an upgrade.
