Seaside Suites

Sheila and Rachel looked after us like family, and we hated having to leave. Seaside Suites was easily the best place we stayed during our 2-1/2 week trip across NL. The surroundings and location were lovely, and the rooms were clean and quiet, with a comfy bed and a great shower. There were thoughtful touches everywhere: a bathtub so big you could swim in it, a comfortable living and dining area, a washer and dryer in the unit, and a well-equipped kitchenette. Breakfast was tasty, and everything felt high quality. We'll definitely stay at Seaside Suites when we come back.

We stayed in both kinds of rooms on our recent trip to Newfoundland, the ones on the dock and the ones across the street. From a distance, the window design makes it look as though there's no road between the room and the shore. Both were nicely decorated, well equipped, and had magnificent views. Sheila and the rest of the team were wonderful. Highly recommend!

The waterfront deck had just been renovated, and it was a lovely place to take in the spectacular views. In the Gros Morne Suite, the couch was set up perfectly for looking outside, and there was plenty of room to relax. The bathroom was huge, with fluffy white towels and nice soaps. They had Keurig coffee ready for the morning, brought a continental breakfast when we arrived, and even had classic East Coast music playing as we came in. Amazing spot, we'd absolutely return. I think it's the best place to stay in Woody's Point!

After a long hike, we stopped at Seaside Suites and didn't expect to find gluten-free food. They made us an amazing gluten-free sandwich, and prepared it in a separate area to avoid cross-contamination. The staff were beyond friendly and clearly knew the gluten-free protocols. We also had great smoothies. Highly recommend if you're looking for a safe, delicious gluten-free bite.
