Uncorked Bed & Breakfast

Breakfast was a highlight both mornings. Judy had us fill out a questionnaire the day before, then served the chef’s special each day, fresh and delicious: avocado toast on day one and frittatas on day two. Best breakfast on a road trip! She also gave us useful suggestions for the area and made our first B&B stay warm and wonderful. Check-in was quick, and she explained everything, with an info sheet in the room. We were upgraded to a poolside room since we were the only guests that weekend as the season wound down. It was too chilly for us to use the pool, though we would have if it were warmer. Lounge chairs, a fire table, and a BBQ were available. The room and shared lounge were neat and clean, with all the basics. The lounge has a coffee maker, kettle, fridge, and microwave, plus plenty of games and books. I highly recommend Uncorked B&B and would definitely return.

We’re already looking forward to another stay at Uncorked B&B when we’re back in Oliver. The pool is great for a refreshing swim in the heat of the day, and the comfortable rooms have everything you need for a nice getaway. Judy is a fantastic, welcoming host who knows the local wine scene and can suggest some good vineyards to visit. It was our second time here, and her Everything but the Kitchen Sink Frittata is amazing.

Judy welcomed us warmly and was very helpful with local information. The breakfasts were delicious, and she handled our food allergies happily and really well. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and modern. We’d definitely stay again.

Judy serves a choice of delicious breakfasts, with bottomless coffee and juice. We had a firm, comfortable king bed, a spacious bathroom, and a smart TV with all the streaming services to sign into. Our shared lounge was with just one other room, and had a fridge, microwave, all the dishes, and even a hot plate. We could also use the BBQ. Outside, the saltwater pool was a perfect temperature for cooling off, with colourful flower baskets and lots of places to sit and lounge. There are pool loungers you can float around on, and a cabinet full of games and novels. It’s economical and comfortable, and the shared lounge would work especially well for two couples traveling together. There’s also a garden room at the back of the house with a private patio shaded in the afternoon. Highly recommend.
