Ramada by Wyndham Dawson Creek

The renovated room was small compared with other motels we've stayed in, and the shower and tap in the bathroom didn't work properly. They confirm on Expedia that the rooms will fit 3-4 people, but there's no way. At 134 CAD, they didn't even provide enough towels, which is basic. The bathroom is so cramped you can't close the door if you put a towel on the floor.

The room was decent, but the renovation meant constant banging all day. The bigger problem was the curry smell throughout the entire place as soon as you walked in. It was so strong that my clothes smell like it now. The owner or staff live there and cook in one of the rooms. Here's a news flash: not everyone in the province likes curry 🤷🏽. Treat it like a business that considers its guests and it would be more appealing. I'd go elsewhere in the future.

The quiet, relaxing atmosphere was a real plus, and my room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to make sure everything was right. I also appreciated the quality amenities. I had a fantastic stay at the Ramada Hotel and highly recommend it for comfort and excellent service.

Maybe this hotel works for working guys who only need somewhere to sleep, but it wasn't comfortable or cozy for a traveler like me. There was no table where one should have been. The hallways were dirty, dark, and dingy, and the windows hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I could barely see out. The bed had just a sheet and a very thin blanket, so bring your own bedding. I've learned you get what you pay for!
