Greg and Cathy were fantastic hosts and gave us great tips on places to eat and things to do nearby. The room was very clean, though a bit dated, and they said they were working on that. We had a lovely river view. The location is great, just outside the National Park and close to Cheticamp's amenities. We'll be back next time we're in the area.

You can walk along the river behind the motel, and some rooms look out onto it. The place is charming and quaint, in a great spot for a clean, welcoming stay in Cape Breton. Our room had all we needed, including a fridge, coffee maker and kettle, and the beds were comfortable. They offer coffee and tea in the morning, along with friendly advice for the road. I'd happily stay again.

We felt at ease right away thanks to the warm welcome and clear information. Greg and Chaty run the motel with real passion and are incredibly kind. They know a lot about the area, so feel free to ask them for tips or explanations. It's also a great base for the Skyline Trail, less than a 15-minute drive away. Thanks for taking such good care of us!

We were on our honeymoon and couldn't find a room that day, so after dinner we left cheticamp and decided to keep driving until we found a motel where we could stop for the night and start the trail early. At the first place outside of cheticamp, cornerstone, we got lucky: they had one room left. The owners helped us out and were great people. The place was very clean, quiet, and had an awesome view. Hospitality was awesome too. Thanks to the owners, we'll definitely be back! 🙂🙂

Check-in was easy, and we got lots of suggestions for good places to eat. Greg and Cathy were friendly and quick to respond by email, from reminders about our stay to confirming our request for a deluxe room upgrade. We absolutely loved staying here.
