We used this as a base for hikes in Cape Breton NP, and it’s hard to stay much closer to the park. A lovely place, with some great sunsets too. Aucoin Bakery nearby is worth a stop for coffee and scones.

That ocean view is something else, and the woman in the office was so warm and helpful that she really stood out. The chalet has an old-fashioned feel, which gives it a lot of character, and it’s basically a little house with everything you need. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

We came from out of town for a concert at the arena, and a transformer problem knocked out power everywhere for six hours. The owner at Ocean view didn’t charge us for the nights we stayed, even though the outage wasn’t something they could control. As someone who travels a lot, I’ve never had a business owner show that kind of kindness in peak season. The rooms were clean, the service was exceptional, and we’ll definitely be back.

The night sky was beautiful, and the views from the chalets were just as lovely. Our chalet was spacious and very clean, and the staff were so friendly and wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. ❤️🥳🥰😊

We spent time outside watching the sun set over the water, which was beautiful. The room had an amazing ocean view, and the bed was really comfortable. It was an older room, but very spacious and extremely clean. Loved this quaint hotel.
