Shady Willow Guest House

We booked the smallest room suite, and though it was small, it was clean, comfy, and nice. Everything was as advertised, and Tiro and Elena were great.

The owners were easy to communicate with, and getting into the room was simple. I never met them in person, but their messages were excellent. The place is tiny, just as the listing makes clear, but I loved staying there. They’ve managed to fit in pretty much everything you need. The bed was comfortable, the shower had hot water and good pressure, the AC worked well, and the whole place was very clean. It’s also handy for downtown Chilliwack, with good bakeries and restaurants just around the corner.

It was quiet and comfortable, just what I wanted after a long drive. I also loved having a backyard, which you don’t often find at a motel. It was a nice spot for morning coffee or just relaxing. The room had what I needed for the night, including a comfortable bed, clean towels, a working mini-fridge, TV, and dependable Wi-Fi. Nothing seemed cheap or thrown together. Everything was spotless, from the room and bathroom to the crisp, freshly laundered-feeling linens. For this price, it’s one of the best value stays I’ve found, and what you get for the money beats other motels I’ve tried. I loved my stay and will definitely come back. I really felt at home in this wonderful guest house, with plenty of space and amenities, and was almost sad to leave. It’s in a convenient spot for anyone travelling to or through Chilliwack and the surrounding area. There’s a lot of crime around the location, so I gave that part 3 stars, though I had no trouble during my four nights. I’d definitely return if I needed to.
