Tofino Paddlers Inn

We found the Peddlers In very lovely and clean, and really liked the kitchen and shared bathroom. My friend and I stayed for two nights, but our room was quite small. Parking was difficult, and we ended up paying quite a lot. That said, it seems to be the same everywhere in Tofino.

The staff were super kind, and the inn was very clean with a charming seaside interior. It’s in a fantastic spot, with a lovely view of the water and an attached cafe whose patio has a stunning outlook. We had an absolutely lovely stay and look forward to coming back.

The bed was comfortable, and the bathrooms and kitchen had everything we needed. We stayed three nights and had a nice time. Sound carries easily between rooms, but luckily the other guests were considerate. The free coffee and patio downstairs were great. It’s a nice, fairly cheap option compared with much of town, and we’d stay again.

The location is excellent, right on the downtown waterfront and within walking distance of plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops. This is a quaint, historic inn, and the architecture and decor show its character. The Tofino Paddler's Inn dates back to 1920 and is the oldest hotel in Tofino. The bedroom, shared bathroom, and shared kitchen were all clean, cozy, and comfortable. Downstairs there’s a cafe offering free drip coffee and 10% off espresso-based drinks. Its patio has a stunning view of the waterfront and the mountains beyond. There’s no parking on site. You’ll need to use street parking, paid from 9am-6pm at 2.75$/h as of May 2025, or a public lot a few blocks away.
