The breakfast was a real highlight, fresh, delicious, and served with so much care. It felt like a restaurant quality meal made with love. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, and the house itself was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. Karen welcomed us so warmly when we arrived. She’s caring and friendly, and clearly goes out of her way to make sure her guests are comfortable. The Simcoe Street location was quiet and felt safe, with Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and other attractions close by for sightseeing. We had one of our best bed and breakfast stays here. It felt like home, and we’d definitely come back. Thanks, Karen, for making it so special.

I didn’t want to leave. The atmosphere was calm and inspiring, the rooms spotless, and breakfast was delicious. The house feels like a beautifully preserved museum, full of history and charm, with care apparent in every detail. The hostess was genuinely warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and I felt at home throughout my stay. I’d highly recommend Gables Bed & Breakfast to anyone who appreciates comfort, elegance, and heartfelt hospitality.

After our afternoon hike, the hot tub was especially welcome. Lois and Bill made our little weekend break lovely, and Lois accommodated our vegetarian diet at breakfast. The meal was fantastic, healthy and hearty, and you can tell she takes pride in preparing it. Thanks so much!

The location makes this charming B&B a great spot to enjoy this beautiful part of Ontario in any season. Our hosts were so welcoming and did their best to make us feel at home. We also had a delicious cooked breakfast. I highly recommend staying here.

Lois and Bill made the stay special with their kindness, knowledge, and genuine care. The house was spotless and decorated beautifully, with unique touches and thoughtful details that made it feel like home. Breakfast was all homemade, fresh, and delicious. I especially loved the homemade ketchup, and even asked Lois for the recipe. Such wonderful hospitality, thank you both. I can’t wait to return to Gables Bed and Breakfast.
