The port and marina are nearby, and if you're fit, you can walk pretty much everywhere. The apartment suited my friend and me because we planned ahead: we had the taxi stop at a supermarket on the way from the airport and brought food, salt, pepper, oil and paper towels. We cooked all our meals. There was a dishwasher with four pods, plus a washing machine and dryer, though we had to bring our own detergent. The coffee pot had a reusable filter. Towels were plentiful for bathing, but there was just one hand towel, which we used in the kitchen since none was provided there. We also got only part of a toilet paper roll for five nights and had to buy more. The building number, 139, was visible, but there was no Les Lofts sign. The stairs are narrow and steep.

The parking spots were reasonably close, though we got a pretty steep ticket while unloading the car. Inside, the apartment was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed. The kids especially liked the bunk beds, and we loved the location. We'd recommend it to friends and family.

There's no lift, so keep that in mind. Our roomy one-bedroom, one-bath loft was on the first floor of an old warehouse building that's been turned into modern apartments. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of linen, and the washer-dryer was large. In winter, the room for drying coats came in handy.

The location is prime, but that doesn't make up for how this was handled. The unit wasn't ready on time, and I ended up late for an appointment. They offered a late checkout, which was no use since we had to leave early the next morning. The TV didn't work either. I tried to reach the manager, but was told nobody could help. They said they'd emailed to let me know about the delay, as if I should have known, but my time and plans didn't seem to matter. There was no empathy or compensation offered. Very disappointing, and I don't like leaving bad reviews, but no one helped at all.

A worker barged into our unit at 9:30 in the morning while our stay was still underway. The night before, there had been a party in the loft above us, with booming music from 3:30 until 6:30 a.m. I emailed a complaint and got no acknowledgment.
