Lovely apartment in a great location. We rented it through AirBnb.

We had a fantastic stay. The loft was spotless and had everything we needed. The terrace hot tub was the best part. I'd book it again in a heartbeat. 👍👍👍👍

EDIT: After I posted, The Lofts got in touch and refunded one of the two nights. I appreciate that they responded. This is what I sent them: “I've rented from the Lofts several times (Tresor/St-Paul/St-Pierre), and this is the first time we've been disappointed. It's not the small details like the lack of certain items in the kitchen, but rather the noise. You should warn people at the beginning that the house is located across from a pub that plays music from a speaker in the street from 7 a.m. to 3 a.m. In addition, there's a bar next door (shared wall) that plays techno until 3 a.m. Then there are the people shouting on St-Joseph Street after the bars close... We didn't sleep either night. It's a shame because the experience would have been perfect otherwise.” I had relied on The Lofts' good reputation and my previous positive stays, so I hadn't checked the reviews. Two weeks after sending the complaint, I still had no response and it hadn't appeared on their website. Reading other reviews afterward made me more disappointed, because the noise issue keeps coming up. If guests had been warned, the rating would have been better and we wouldn't have chosen this place. It's hard to make a rule against parties or noise after 11 p.m. when the property is between two bars.

The loft itself was great, but the service has been really disappointing. The air conditioning was out because the exterior heat pump was blocked. We called that evening and got two pedestal fans for eight adults in a four-bedroom loft. Half the windows were screwed shut, so we couldn't get air inside. It’s been 22 days and, after several emails and voice messages, I still haven’t managed to speak with anyone.
