The Grey Gable Inn has a lovely garden and luxurious rooms that made for a comfortable, indulgent stay. I stayed in the Kensington room, which had a coffee machine and a refrigerator with a small freezer. The decor was tasteful, and the inn keeps the charm of an old house while still being updated. There’s a diner in the inn where meals are available to buy. It’s a historic place just a few blocks from Pembroke's downtown, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone after a distinctive, memorable stay.

We stayed in the Majestic while traveling from Montreal to North Bay. The room was just as advertised, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The bathroom was beautiful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Lynn was especially helpful and sweet during our stay. Breakfast isn’t included, but what you pay for is great value. We hope to come back soon!

We celebrated our Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary in the newly renovated Oak Room at the Grey Gables Inn, and had such a pleasant time. The staff were friendly and attentive to everything we needed. The food was delicious too, compliments to the chef. A Five Star experience.

We tried to arrange a room and dinner at The Pantry Bistro, but it was very disappointing. I called the website number several times and got no answer, and the voicemail was full. Booking online didn’t work, and the restaurant number was ‘unassigned’. We even waited by the front door, where there’s an alarm, but nobody came. We didn’t go past the front desk because it didn’t feel right to do so.

Edit: We came back for the summer 2021 patio opening and had the best time!!! The updated menu was delicious too. Original review: Our group of 4 had a perfect evening. The entrance was beautifully decorated, and we got a warm welcome as soon as we came in. The dining area was comfortable and nicely done, with a pleasantly quiet atmosphere even though a few other groups were there. We had wine and several dishes, including two different pastas and the prime rib special. Everything tasted great.
