This place reminds me of a clean cabin rental at a national park, where you don't get every polished amenity. The rooms are dated and there's no AC, so summer could be a little uncomfortable, though there are door screens and fans in the rooms. The beds are comfortable. If you want high-end features, look elsewhere; if a quiet spot, a million-dollar view, and simpler amenities suit you, it's amazing. There are BBQs if you don't want to eat out, and you can also eat at the golf course. You'll need a car if walking is an issue. TallShip brewery is a great pub about a 15-minute walk away, with excellent beer and an even better view of town, so don't miss a night visit. You could spend $300 a night in town and maybe get parking but no view, or stay here for much less and be glad you did. I'd definitely come back.

From the deck, we had beautiful views of Lunenburg and the sunrises. The drive into town is short, or you can walk in about 15 to 20 minutes. Our queen room had a kitchenette and was clean and comfortable, with a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and the usual plates and cutlery. We'd definitely stay again.

Having our own kitchen was a real plus, and the price felt amazing for what we got. The view was beautiful, and the room and bed were clean and comfortable. The place may look dated to some, but I'd take comfort over looks. It's hard for me to judge the service since we got an entry code and never really met anyone connected with the motel.

The rooms are plain, but spotless and fully equipped. From the patio, you can watch the golf course and take in Lunenburg Harbour, and the view is spectacular in every direction. Topmast Inn was a great place to stay while visiting Lunenburg. Stay here!

We liked it enough to return after nine years. It's a great little place, with cute rooms and a fantastic view over Lunenburg and the harbor.
