Burken B&B

Two of the most genuine, generous people you'll meet. Burken Bed & Breakfast clearly cares about giving guests a comfortable, memorable stay and a personal touch. It's been a privilege for us to support them with services that help keep the booking process smooth and enjoyable. We're glad to play a small part in the high standards their guests appreciate.

Breakfast was incredible, especially the apple pancakes, and chatting with Burke and Ken made it even better. They were so kind and welcoming that leaving felt like saying goodbye to family. My husband and I had a wonderful night at Burkes and Ken’s beautiful B&B. The bed was really comfortable, and all the thoughtful little details stood out. My heart's full :)). Thanks so much, Burke and Ken! Xo. We'd love to come back one day.

We ended the evening with a fantastic dinner at The El in Cobourg, about 20 minutes from Burken, after spending the night in Brighton. Ken and Burke were funny, wonderful hosts, and the rooms were beautifully decorated. Breakfast looked lovely and tasted great, too. The location is very close to Presqulie Park. There are two rooms and one shared bathroom, which might be less common these days. Usually, if they book one room, they don't book the other unless it's a group of four, so we were the only ones using the private bathroom. We hope to return. If you're lucky, Ken might show you his stunning vintage cars while Burke keeps you entertained with his comments.

Mark and Margo here. Breakfast was a real highlight, especially the apple pancakes, and the room was comfortable and clean. Burke and Ken were warm and friendly, with lots of interesting conversation, and we appreciated how kind and comfortable they made our stay. Ken proudly showed us his two classic cars. I couldn't talk him into trading the Buick for my Honda 😉. It's a great place to stay if you're nearby, close to little towns like Brighton and to Presquille Park. Thanks again for such an enjoyable stay, Burke and Ken. Happy Motoring, M&M.
