The rooms were nasty, the Wi-Fi was terrible, and the staff came across as rude and unprofessional. Don’t spend your money staying here.

Imperial Inn has been part of Cold Lake for years and has deep ties to the community. Its central location works well for many travelers, and the service is professional. The diner is fantastic, and the food, customer service, and conference rooms are what keep loyal guests coming back. It lacks a pool and some of the amenities offered by larger chains, though.

For a work trip, the price is very good. The rooms are older, but the beds are still pretty comfortable. The TV is tiny, though, and in my room the thermostat seemed useless. I set it to 16, but the temperature still climbed to 25.
