Blue Mountain was under a 10-minute drive away, and there were plenty of places to eat within walking distance around Collingwood. The room was clean, and the front desk staff were really friendly. I’m a very light sleeper, but slept without any trouble. Had a great stay.

The front desk lady was lovely. Our room was large and quiet, with a comfortable bed, and everything was clean. For the price, it was a really good stay, and I’d come back.

The rooms were cozy and clean, just right for coming back to after a day out. It’s also a handy location, close to Blue Mountain and not too far from the beach. The new owners were so welcoming and kind, and it’s clear they care about the guests and the place. You can tell things have changed for the better since the older reviews. I had a great stay and will be back.

While checking out, I looked around the room to make sure we hadn’t left anything behind. Since the bed frames go all the way to the floor, I didn’t think there could be anything underneath, but I brushed my foot beside the bed under the hanging mattress skirt and felt something. I’m glad I didn’t reach in. It was a used sex toy that hadn’t been picked up. I took a picture and told the front desk, and the worker was polite but only apologized. There was no offer of a partial discount or anything. The room clearly hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. I can only hope the sheets had been cleaned. I’m glad my kids didn’t find it.
