The shower was a fantastic surprise, with a huge rainfall head and great water pressure. The hotel is older, but the rooms have been renovated. I slept really well in a comfortable bed, and the Wi-Fi was perfect. The room also had a large TV. Front desk staff were lovely and accommodating, and we felt welcomed and cared for. I’d happily stay here again.

The kitchenette is handy, with a small induction cooktop, a fridge-freezer, and a sink. The rooms are large with modern interiors, and the bathrooms are well put together with nice contemporary fixtures. Front desk staff are attentive and can help sort out problems, like locking yourself out. The internet is fast too. So far, it's been excellent, with a good setup all around.

The hotel lounge was a great feature, especially since we usually pack our own food to save money. We could heat it up and eat at a proper table, and the coffee machine made several really good drinks. It added a lot of value. The location worked perfectly for us: close to Mount Washington, while still letting us enjoy the range of restaurants and breweries in the Comox valley.

The front desk receptionist was so kind and welcoming when we arrived. A small issue came up, but he fixed it quickly and efficiently, so the stay stayed peaceful and stress-free. We had a wonderful experience and are grateful for his help. I highly recommend this place for its hospitality in Courtenay.

I've stayed at Coast Courtenay twice and have already booked again since January. The rooms are basic, but clean, and the beds are very comfortable. What really stands out is the service: everyone is incredibly friendly. Once I forgot my toothbrush, and the front desk clerk quickly brought one right to my room. The prices are so affordable that I don't have to think twice about booking Coast Courtney when I'm up island for a ski trip.
