Garden House

I called to book directly and explained that my husband, a veteran, would be travelling with his registered service dog. The woman on the phone rudely said they don't take pets or service dogs, then claimed that being a B&B meant she didn't have to accept them. She said they'd had a service dog once, couldn't get the hair off, and so they didn't accept any animals. I hadn't heard what she said about the rules, so I checked: BC's Human Rights Code says B&Bs must follow the law and accept service dogs. I called back to point her to the up-to-date information. A man answered and told me, "we don't want it, not interested." It's sad that the owners don't feel they need to serve everyone, especially someone who served his country for 23 years.

A huge space, packed with amenities, and hosts who were so welcoming and helpful. Much better value than the usual. I'll call them again!

The garden and back deck were such relaxing, beautiful spots. We really enjoyed our short stay in this cozy, comfortable home.

The hosts were wonderful, and it was a fabulous place to stay. I'd highly recommend it.
