Dawson Lodge

When the town's water main froze, the hotel was dealing with a difficult situation, but the staff were very helpful with any problems that came up. Check-in was easy, and getting into the room without a key was convenient. The room was small, but clean and tidy, with snacks and coffee thoughtfully provided.

The staff were quick to respond and helpful. My room had everything I needed, and it was clean and comfortable. I also really liked the snacks, and the bed was very comfortable. I'd recommend it!

We really appreciated how quiet the building was, and the room had everything we needed. It was clean and welcoming, and the Lodge is right in the center of town, within walking distance of the waterfront trail and downtown amenities. We were traveling with two large dogs after having some disappointing stays at other places that called themselves dog friendly. Dawson Lodge texted to ask if we needed dog beds or bowls, something no one had done in nearly 30 years of our traveling. We also asked to add a night when we arrived and were booked immediately. Getting our room number and door code before arrival meant there was no check-in process to deal with, which was another nice bonus. A 10 out of 10 stay for us. Thanks!

The quiet, peaceful atmosphere and all the little details made a strong impression on me. The owners clearly take pride in making guests comfortable. My room was spotless and cozy, with tasteful modern touches that still suited Dawson's character. The self-serve check-in was friendly and easy, especially arriving late. From the lodge, it was an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and historic sights around town. I had a wonderful overnight stay at Dawson Lodge, a clean, well-kept little gem. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dawson City.
