Eldorado, a Coast Hotel

Dining room service has kept getting worse. The servers can be very unpleasant, and they don't seem to check on the food after bringing it out. I've had to go up to the server station more than once to ask for something. They also don't wait for you to finish eating before taking your plate or setting a takeout container in front of you. It's really unpleasant.

The community was so welcoming and kind that Dawson City felt like home. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were the friendliest I've experienced at a hotel, motel, or inn. Shops and restaurants are only a few minutes away on foot. I'd definitely enjoy coming back. Thanks, Dawson City, for making me feel so welcome.

Brad made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived, and his friendly energy carried through the whole meal. He knew the menu well and suggested dishes that suited my taste. The stories he shared about the food made it even more enjoyable. He was attentive without hovering and seemed to anticipate what I needed. I felt like a VIP, and left happy with both the food and the warmth of his service. Brad clearly cares about his guests and takes pride in his work. Great service like his can be hard to find, and I look forward to seeing him again on my next visit.

The food was fine, but service made breakfast a painful experience. I've been here several times before and came in on the last morning of my trip. I was seated right away, then completely forgotten for 10 to 15 minutes, and the food took ages to arrive after that. My server seemed disengaged and uninterested in being there. I'm usually an easy customer, but even basic service felt like too much to ask this time.
