Such a peaceful spot for a Rockies trip, and it helped us avoid traffic congestion while still making it easy to get around Banff and Canmore. There’s a new shopping center just minutes away, and coffee shops and trails are within walking distance. Grocery delivery apps will bring food here, too. The views are spectacular. 10/10, the best Airbnb location in the Rockies!

We stayed in unit 4210 for four nights in November with four adults and two toddlers. It was bright, spacious, comfortable, and clean. We loved the big hot tub and the walking paths along the creek, and getting to Canmore was easy. I’d happily stay there again. One layout detail to know: the bunk beds are on the main floor, while both bedrooms and the two large bathrooms are upstairs. There were lots of cooking utensils, but the only food supplies were packets of salt, pepper, and sugar. No food wrap or foil either. It wasn’t a problem for us, just a surprise since rentals often have a few spices and condiments.

The furniture and service didn’t come close to justifying the price. The chairs had peeling faux leather and the furniture felt cheap. The room was listed at $170 a night, but after the $120 cleaning fee and other charges, the actual nightly cost topped $300. We left right at the listed 10:00 AM check-out time, but realized we’d left a couple of small bags inside. When we came back at 10:01, the keyless entry had already locked us out. The front desk didn’t open until noon, and repeated calls to the supposed after-hours security line went unanswered. The confusing building layout made it hard to get back in. While I was grabbing the last bag, I got locked out of the garage with my dog still in the car. We couldn’t contact staff and had to ask other guests to let us into the building. I was close to panicking and thinking about calling 911. That system doesn’t seem acceptable. If access ends right at 10:00 and nobody is available to help, guests need to be clearly told during check-in. Other guests were locked out, too. Some had been using the hot tub and thought checkout was at 11:00, not 10:00. They were left outside in their swimsuits with no way to reach property management. The whole thing felt extremely unprofessional and misleading.

The hot tub was great, but it couldn’t make up for the room. It was dark and grotty, and the wet carpet smell was really strong. I’d noticed other reviews mentioning the same odor, and unfortunately it overwhelmed everything else. Could be a good choice if you find a good deal.
