Bayside Motel

Krupa made such a difference to our stay. She greeted us and was friendly, helpful, and professional every time, even though she seemed to be working nonstop in the office. The property is right on the water, and our room had everything we needed. Having the kitchen in a separate room was a nice touch. At a fair rate, I’d definitely come back.

The owner was a polite, friendly gentleman, and the few times we talked he seemed genuinely happy to have us there. Our room was clean and had a rustic feel, with the water right nearby and great views. I’d look to book here again whenever I’m in the area.

We had a great time cooking together, then enjoying a BBQ evening with music and dancing. The staff were warm and helpful, too. When we ran out of cooking oil, someone brought us some right away, and he also suggested a few nearby places to check out. The motel sits right beside a beautiful lake, so the setting was peaceful and scenic. The rooms were clean, and the stay cost less than we expected. We were very happy with it.

The waterfront setting was a real highlight. We parked right outside our door, and out back there were chairs and benches across the yard, plus a private dock. The owner even offered us his kayak, though we chose to lounge at Sandbanks beach instead. We went to see the lake at night and it was stunning. There’s a smoking area behind the rooms, so we weren’t bothered by smoke near our door. The owner was kind and accommodating, and clearly takes care of the place. He cleans the rooms as soon as guests leave, and there’s a phone by the office to reach him after hours. We had everything we needed and slept well. We’d happily stay here again when visiting the beaches near Trenton. Our room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The walls kept noise from other rooms out, and the guests seemed fairly laid back and mature, without a party atmosphere. You might hear the odd thing just outside your door. Inside, everything felt clean, from the fresh white sheets and plentiful pillows to the bathroom towels. The walls had fresh paint, the bed was plush, and I didn’t see any bugs or webs. The air conditioner kept the room cool, and there was plenty of seating, including a comfortable armchair and a table for meals. We could watch movies on the decent-sized TV with WiFi, and the bedside wall had convenient fast-charging plugs. The kitchenette was also in good shape, with a clean fridge, working microwave, and single-serve coffee station. The bathroom had fresh tile, soap and shampoo packets, and lots of clean white towels.
