The rooms have a really cool, unusual style and were comfortable to stay in. Clair was warm and welcoming, and she knows a lot about the town, with plenty of great stories to share. Breakfast was wonderful too. Clair’s scones, coffee, and stuffed French toast were amazing, and she’s an incredible chef. Such a beautiful, distinctive place. I’d recommend a stay and will likely come back myself.

Clair knows so much about local history, and we really enjoyed talking with her in her lovely home. The whole stay felt carefully thought through for comfort, and the breakfasts were beyond decadent. My partner and I were the only hotel guests while we were there, so Clair kindly moved us to a more premium suite at no extra charge. We had a lovely time with Clair and her dog Saoirse. Highly recommend staying here.

Our stay was really comfortable, and breakfast Clair cooked in the morning was out-of-this-world good. The house has lovely character, and Clair is such a pleasure, super nice and fun to be around. I’d absolutely recommend staying here! 😊❤

We live nearby and have passed Clair's Bed & Breakfast lots of times, wondering what it would be like to stay there. We finally did, and weren’t disappointed. The historic home, built in 1922, was a treasure to explore. We were the only guests, and Clair generously upgraded us to the Jade Room. What a treat, and the breakfast was superb. We’d definitely recommend it to friends and family.

When ferry cancellations left us facing an unexpected night stranded, Claire welcomed us right at her doorstep and made us feel at home. She provided essentials, and the next morning there was coffee, hand pressed juice, and muffins to get us started. Claire herself is a gem, and the place has a charming, historic feel. For a distinctive place to stay, Claire’s Boutique Hotel is a great choice.
