Alain greeted me with a big smile and made sure my stay was exceptional. He let me keep my road bike indoors overnight and gave me a quick tour of the main floor. I was impressed by the work done on the place, especially after hearing how bad it looked before the new owner moved in. The Hôtel now hosts live shows with musicians and singers, as well as dance classes. There's a bar inside, but I took my bike out for a spin and returned with food. My room was very clean and had everything you'd normally expect in a hotel room.
8/10
It's a small roadside hotel, with a bar open on weekends. The ensuite rooms are small but very clean. If you're leaving early, Tim Horton's is just four minutes away.
6/10
Good value for the money, and the location is handy, close to the highway and a river view. The rooms are basic and have no air conditioning. Breakfast could be better, with enough quantity.
10/10
The hosts were excellent. It felt like a home away from home.
10/10
It’s a simple place, but it feels homey.
