Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Montreal-Dorval

The location worked well for airport access, just a few minutes from the terminal, which was why I booked the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton near the Montreal Airport on a business trip. There aren’t many places to eat nearby, though. A brewery and restaurant about a 1.5-kilometre walk away happened to be open when we arrived, which was a nice bonus. The staff were friendly and patient, making me feel welcome after a long travel day. The rooms were spotless, among the cleanest I’ve seen at this price, and felt well maintained. I liked the comfortable bed and in-room coffee setup for early mornings. It’s good value for business travellers or anyone needing an airport overnight. Five stars for cleanliness and friendliness, three for the somewhat isolated location. I’d happily stay again.

The room was a good size, had the usual amenities, and a comfortable bed. Check-in was quick and the service was nice. We stayed one night, and the hotel is close to the airport with a shuttle. There are some restaurants and shops around, breakfast was nice, and parking was free with no trouble finding a space. There’s also a pool, though we didn’t try it. I’d be happy to stay again.

Stay was Oct. 9, 2025 The room and hotel were spotless, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I explained why we were staying, and Julie and her aunt, who was in training, were understanding and accommodating. They offered a Happy To Go breakfast bag for the next morning, which was wonderful. It had bottled water, a sliced bagel, cheddar cheese, a small container of cream cheese, vanilla yogurt, an apple, utensils, and a napkin. The buffet area had closed, but the doors were open and I could get plates. The self-serve coffee bar had dark, regular, and decaf coffee, plus hot water for tea with three options. The coffee was really good. My only concern is car theft, which has happened at other hotels in the area too. They do have security cameras. The rooms aren’t fully soundproof, so you can hear planes and traffic, though it isn’t overly loud. Great staff!

We ended up needing to stay in Montreal unexpectedly and chose this Hampton inn in Pointe Claire. It was clean, modern, and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was typical but still very good. Thanks for a nice stay, and a shout-out to Laird at the front desk, who checked us in and was very helpful.
