The place was quiet and relaxing, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and ready to help. My room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the bed was comfortable too. I appreciated the value and how much the team does to make guests feel at home. I’d recommend Westwind Motor Inn Hotel to visitors to Drayton Valley, and I look forward to staying again.

The only thing I wish were working was the pool and hot tub. The rooms are nice and clean, the service is great, and the staff are very friendly. The lounge food is wonderful, with such large servings you won’t leave hungry.

Wednesday has karaoke and wings. Bingo is on Sundays at 5 pm.

The room was cleaned every day, the staff stayed on top of things, and everything was clean. I didn’t see bed bugs or anything odd, and I had a very positive experience. I was here for work and paid around 85 bucks a night, or something like that, which included a free dinner and continental breakfast all day. The food is good and affordable, so it’s also a nice place to stop and eat if you’re passing through town. The staff are really friendly. I don’t know what the low star reviews are about, this place is top notch. I’d absolutely come back and would suggest it to friends passing through Drayton valley. If I return to this part of Alberta, I’ll stay at the Westwinds.

It may be an older hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised and would stay again. The room was decent, the front desk staff were pleasant, and it was great value.
