A peaceful, beautiful spot, with friendly staff and a comfortable king bed. We stayed three nights at the end of August, and both the room and the whole property were spotlessly clean. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious, and our waitress was wonderful. It’s only open 8-11 am, Wednesday through Sunday. We had an issue with the room’s DVD player, but a staff member came right away and fixed it.

A lovely place for a couple or family, with friendly proprietors and a family run feel. The grounds are very nice and full of nature. Rooms are simple, but clean and well kept. There’s a breakfast only restaurant onsite with a great view, plus kayaks and canoes you can use for free on their small lake.

We visited over the October 1st holidays, when the fall colours were at their peak. The rooms were well equipped, service was fabulous, and it’s a nice place to stay close to Algonquin. I’d return.

The property is beautiful and very well maintained, and the room was clean with really comfortable beds. The calm water is nice for kayaking and paddleboards, and I liked not having boats to watch out for while kayaking. My only complaint is that the bedding is dated and should be replaced. It was clean, just looked like something my great grandmother would have. We had a great time and I’d come back.

A nice little motel with very friendly staff and extremely clean rooms. The lake is small, but still pleasant for a swim or just floating around. There are lots of fish, turtles, and other wildlife to see in the water. The property is well maintained, and the room AC worked really well. I’d definitely return.
