The ribs were the standout for me at La Sorce. I had the 1/2 rack, and the meat was tender enough to come off the bone easily, with a nice smoky flavor. It was one of my favorite dishes in a while. We ate right by St. Francois Lake, and the sunset over the water made the setting really special. La Sorce Restaurant is in Lambton, Quebec, and the lakeside view added a lot to the meal. My French is pretty basic, so I did have a language barrier at first. The servers were warm and welcoming, spoke English fluently, and patiently explained the menu and shared helpful recommendations. They clearly wanted us to have a good experience. As a traveler from the United States who enjoys trying local food, I found La Sorce a memorable place to eat. The helpful service, beautiful surroundings, and delicious ribs made for a meal that stayed with me. I'd recommend it to travelers looking for a memorable meal in Lambton.

It has a great feel and sits alongside a marina. Service could be better for regular customers who aren't spending their savings while dreaming of being worthy of the holy grail.
