Katerina made our first stay here unforgettable. We arrived late on February 21, 2026, after going to Galaxyland at West Edmonton Mall for my daughter's 10th birthday. She greeted us right away, wished my daughter a happy birthday, and upgraded us to a princess-themed room. My daughter was thrilled when she saw the princess bed, and Katerina also gave her a treat. She explained the amenities and hours in detail. We often travel to Calgary or Edmonton and stay in hotels for a night or two, but we've never had an experience this memorable or above expectations. The room was very clean and spacious, the amenities were great, the breakfast had a wide selection, and the beds were comfortable. Katerina clearly cares about the service she gives, not just the money. Melak was friendly too and supported Katerina. They work well together. From now on, this is our favourite place to stay whenever we come to Edmonton.

The location was a real plus for our family, only about a 4-5 minute drive from West Edmonton Mall. We chose this Edmonton hotel because we'd enjoyed the same brand in Calgary. Our Mario-themed room felt a little compact, but the two double beds and children's bunk bed fit several kids well, and the themed decor was fun. A few things made the stay harder. One sheet had a stain when we arrived; the front desk replaced it after we let them know. The washing machine in the laundry room was out of order the whole time. Staff suggested the laundry service across the street, but it charges per item and returns the clothes to your room, which wasn't practical for us with children, so we skipped it. The pool closed on our second day. We were told we could use the Holiday Inn pool across the street, but in snowy, cold weather that wasn't convenient with kids, so we didn't go. The desk staff were polite and patient, but several services weren't available while we were there, and that affected the experience. The location and family-friendly room setup are strong points; more reliable access to the facilities would help.

Edward Whiting, the General Manager, knew it was a special birthday trip with someone visiting from Europe and thoughtfully arranged a gift basket in our room. That was lovely customer service. One of the maintenance staff also came to help with the lights, which turned out to need only a reset button. He was very understanding and nice about it. Our room was clean and had beautiful art. Breakfast was complimentary, and there was a small snack corner near the front for easy munchies. The location is excellent, close to groceries, restaurants, shopping, and with easy access to the Henday for getting around town. The other guests were friendly and quiet, even with several families apparently in town for competitions. We didn't use the pool or gym, but it's nice to have them available. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciate the General Manager and all the staff.

The clean pool area, good breakfast, and free parking were all appreciated. It's a lovely pet-friendly hotel, conveniently close to West Edmonton Mall, and the breakfast servers were cheerful, hardworking, and attentive. Welcome snacks and chocolates were a nice touch. Katrina made check-in easy and arranged rooms next to each other for us. At checkout, Abigale let us stay until 12:00, which helped a lot. Great stay, highly recommend it.

The room was nicely laid out, and the location, cleanliness, and friendly staff were all good. The new housekeeping setup, though, feels like cost cutting dressed up as going green. Rooms are cleaned every three days, so if I need cups, coffee, or towels in between, I have to go ask at the desk. I don't mind the bed not being made or towels not being restocked every day, but I'm not keen on this approach. There's just one elevator, so sometimes you wait a while, though it does arrive soon enough. This weekend the hotel rented the space needed for Alberta's signature gathering. I appreciated that, and the group was organized and had basically no impact on the other guests.
