Baymont By Wyndham West Edmonton

Kathie, the GM I believe, was incredibly accommodating to us tired travelers when we arrived before regular check-in, and she kept helping us throughout our stay. The hotel is just steps from entrance 8 at West Ed Mall, with clean rooms and lobby, helpful staff, and very reasonable rates. The fourth-floor loft bedrooms are spectacular for families. One room had two separate bedrooms with doors and their own full bathrooms, plus an upstairs loft bedroom with another full bathroom. Our other loft room had a pull-out couch bed we didn't use, so I can't say how comfortable it is, and two full bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. Breakfast was plentiful, with hot and cold items, fresh fruit, and decent coffee. We'll book here again next time we're in Edmonton.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean with everything we needed. It was beautiful and just right for our special occasion and stay. Breakfast was simple, but it was enough to get our day started. I'd gladly recommend this hotel and stay here again on a future visit to Edmonton.

The breakfast wasn't ideal, so I wouldn't choose this place just for the morning meal. There are plenty of places nearby to eat, though. The hotel itself was nice, clean, and new, with spacious rooms and friendly staff. I enjoyed the stay and will come back.

Getting into the mall is easy since it's right across the road from West Edmonton Mall. The rooms and hallways were very clean, and the beds were comfy. No bedbugs, which is always a bonus. The parking setup is a pain if someone is in the check-in spot, because there's nowhere to stop while you check in. Parking is underground only, which is a plus in hot or cold weather.
