Four Points by Sheraton Edmonton West

The restaurant team was lovely, and breakfast was good. We arrived a bit late, but they kept serving so we could still get what we wanted. That extra care meant a lot. This was my third stay at Four Points Edmonton West, and the front desk was friendly and accommodating again from the moment we arrived. West Edmonton Mall is only about 10-15 minutes away, too. Another great visit.

The hotel worked really well for our school trip group. The arrangements, communication, and service were all great, and the rooms were clean. There’s a Walmart just a few steps away, along with a plaza full of restaurants and service shops.

I’ve stayed here five times in the past year and it’s usually our go-to, but this time was a mess. The check-in staff member seemed unsure what to do and put a hold on my card for the stay plus extras. The next day they said they’d lost my card information and needed to place another hold, so now the amount was held twice. I was told it had all been sorted out. I asked for a manager to call because I was frustrated, but two days later there was still no call. After I left, the hotel charged my card a third time while both holds were still pending. I wasn’t the only one in our group with check-in and card problems. My card now shows $1200 charged for a $380 stay. I’m very unhappy.

I was there for a few nights on a business trip and liked the location, especially with some good food nearby. Breakfast is free only with certain booking rates or Bonvoy status. The gym stays open 24 hours, while the pool has set evening hours. There’s a restaurant in the lobby, but no room service. I didn’t get around to ordering there, and there are plenty of good Uber Eats choices.
